Jewish law punctuates every moment of our lives: setting standards for business ethics, proper speech, honoring parents, what we eat, and even how to care for pets.
This 43-part course provides a solid foundation for the most common topics and scenarios in Jewish life. And to make the learning fun, the text of each segment is supplemented by a variety of quality multi-media features: instructional videos, slideshows, audio pronunciation guides, and more.
Then, for a self-check of understanding, students are presented with a 10 multiple-choice questions based on the class material. Students automatically receive a test score, along with the correct answers.
Rabbi Dov Lev
Rabbi Dov Lev has been a researcher, lecturer and counselor at Aish HaTorah for over ten years. He was ordained at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College where he also received a Master’s degree in Talmudic Law. He subsequently earned a Master’s degree from the Johns’ Hopkins University Engineering School. Rabbi Lev lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel, with his wife and three children.
Rabbi Shraga Simmons
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Rabbi Shraga Simmons holds a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, and rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem. He is the chief editor of Jewish Pathways, and the senior editor of Aish.com. Rabbi Simmons previously served as Director of Outreach for Aish HaTorah in Los Angeles, and is also the founding editor of HonestReporting.com. His work has been translated into Hebrew, Spanish, French, Indonesian and German. He lives with his wife and children in the Modi'in region of Israel.
